Day 1 Welcome to Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal!
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport, and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing

Morning visit to Pashupatinath, a revered Hindu temple tracing its origins to 400 BC. Located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, its pagoda-style architecture pays homage to Lord Shiva. Have a private Vedic astrology chat reading performed by local Hindu priest.

Next, visit Bhaktapur at Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at ancient temples, intricately carved palaces, and the 55-Window Palace. A guided stroll through Bhaktapur's narrow lanes to explore traditional Newari architecture and learn about the city's fascinating past, from its medieval roots to the present day. Particate in a pottery class and get guidance from skilled artisans, to mold and shape clay, delving into the age-old craft that defines Bhaktapur's artistic heritage. Visit a local yoghurt factory and learn about the traditional process of producing Juju Dhau, Bhaktapur's famed sweet yoghurt.

Day 3 Fly to Bardiya National Park

Morning flight to Nepalgunj and a 2 hr drive to reach Bardiya National Park.
Settle in and relax amidst the natural surroundings of Bardiya National Park. Indulge in dinner accompanied by the vibrant Tharu cultural dance, immersing yourself in the rich traditions of the indigenous community.

Day 4 Bardiya Safari

Embark on a full day of thrilling wildlife exploration in Bardiya National Park, beginning with an early morning jeep safari that takes you deep into the heart of the park's diverse landscapes, keeping a keen eye out for one-horned rhinos, elephants, and an array of bird species.
In the afternoon, venture out on a tranquil river safari along the Karnali River, observing wildlife along its lush banks. Drift along the water, encountering mugger crocodiles and a chance to experience the remote side of the park, and spot crocodiles and perhaps the rare pink dolphin up close.

Note: the river safari is only during monsoon and summer.

Optional add-on: Choose to have an afternoon or night-time jeep safari. In the afternoon (or dusk), when the weather is cooler and the animals become more active, venture out for a jeep safari in the national park. Explore the jungle in the comfort and convenience of a jeep accompanied by park rangers.

Day 5 Bardiya Safari

Embark on a cultural journey by visiting the Tharu village, where you can delve into the rich tapestry of indigenous culture and traditions. Engage with the local community, gaining insights into their way of life, rituals, and customs. As the day transitions into the evening, savour a magical experience with a candlelit dinner under the stars.

Day 6 Fly to Kathmandu and drive to Nagarkot

After a morning flight back to Kathmandu, and drive to Nagarkot for the evening.

Sunrise over the Himalayas, before a short hike to the view tower. Return to Kathmandu, stopping at Boudhanath, Nepal's largest stupa, dating back to the 14th century. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its colossal dome echoes Buddhist history. Engage in a private Solka Puja at Guru Lakhang Monastery, where monks conduct traditional ceremonies. Immerse yourself in Buddhist rituals, from pujas to the meditative Kora walk around the stupa.
