Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing

Situated atop a hill, Swayambhunath, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, offers captivating panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. This revered site features a prominent domed stupa surrounded by numerous shrines and temples, adorned with gold accents and vibrant prayer flags. It holds significant religious importance for Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus alike. Believed to have originated around 460 A.D., the temple complex was reconstructed during the 13th century under the reign of King Manadeva.
Experience the tranquillity and spiritual essence of Kopan Monastery, nestled in the hills of Kathmandu. Kopan Monastery, founded in 1971, serves as a vibrant centre for Tibetan Buddhism. It offers courses, retreats, and a peaceful retreat for seekers. Connect with a monk for a personalized meditation session, delving into your inner self amidst the monastery's sacred surroundings.
Next, visit Boudhanath, Nepal's largest stupa and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participate in a private Solka Puja, a traditional prayer ceremony, conducted by the monks at Guru Lakhang Monastery. Experience the spiritual essence of Buddhism as you take part in pujas and engage in Kora, a meditative walk around the stupa. End the experience with a delicious rooftop dinner overlooking the Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 3 Fly to Pokhara

After breakfast, take a short flight to Pokhara, known as the gateway to the Himalayas, where you will meet our Lama monk, your dedicated guide for the upcoming spiritual journey to Upper Mustang. Spend the afternoon engaging in insightful discussions on Tibetan Buddhism and the Bon tradition. Experience a soul-soothing singing bowl healing session followed by an optional evening meditation guided by your Lama guide.

Day 4 Drive to Jomsom

Today drive to Jomsom, the gateway to the mystical land of Upper Mustang. The scenic journey takes you through picturesque valleys and charming villages, as it follows the Kaligandaki River, offering breathtaking views of the Kaligandaki Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. Make a stop at Tatopani, where you can enjoy a dip in natural hot springs. Marvel at the impressive Rupse Waterfall and pass through the ancient village of Marpha, known for its unique architecture.

Day 5 Drive to Ghami

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Jomsom to Kagbeni, the last village in the lower Mustang region. From Kagbeni, follow the Kaligandaki River to Chhuksang. Hike 2.5 hours from Samar to reach Chungshi Rangjung Cave, a renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site where Guru Rinpoche meditated. Experience guided meditation and pujas with your Lama Guide. Afterwards, hike for 1 hour to your waiting vehicle and enjoy lunch at Syanbochen. Resume the drive to Ghami, taking in the scenic surroundings.

Day 6 Drive to Lo-Mangthang

Today, explore Ghami, the old Winter Palace of Lo-Kingdom, and Shad Drup Darkeling Gompa related to the Sakyapa sect of Buddhism founded by Sonama Lodo in 1414 AD. After a short palace tour, cross the Ghami Khola leading to Lo Ghekhar, as Ghar Gumba, built in the 8th century by guru Rinpoche “Padmasambhava the Tibetan Buddhism founder, is a sacred site of the Nyingma sect adorned with Chortens and prayer flags. Continue driving to Charang Village, the second-largest town in Mustang, boasting a 16th-century monastery constructed by Bsum Grub Dorje. Drive across Charang to reach Lo Manthang, a two-hour drive away.

Day 7 Lo-Mangthang

Embark on a 40-minute drive followed by a 1-hour hike to reach Richiling Cave. This cave holds one of the world's most revered paintings. Under the guidance of your Lama, delve into a profound spiritual journey as you explore and engage in meditation within the cave's depths. Return to the captivating Lo Manthang village, where you can immerse yourself in the ancient walled city's enchanting ambience. Take your time to wander through the narrow lanes, discover hidden gems, and experience the unique culture and history that permeates the atmosphere of Lo Manthang.

Day 8 Drive to Muktinath

Start your return journey to Kagbeni, retracing the familiar path. Upon reaching Kagbeni, we will embark on a new route leading to Muktinath. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge, and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Take advantage of this time to engage in spiritual discussions, partake in meditation sessions, or simply immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of Muktinath. The choice is yours as you embrace the spiritual essence of this sacred place.

Day 9 Drive to Tadopani

Morning visit to Muktinath, a place that emanates a profound sense of spiritual liberation. The Juwaramai temple stands as the focal point, featuring natural springs, an eternal flame, and 108 water funnels pouring holy water. Legend has it that immersing oneself in each of these funnels absolves any lingering negative karma. Muktinath attracts numerous pilgrims annually, drawn by its sacred significance. Take part in a special puja, led by the pujari in Muktinath Temple After breakfast, begin your journey to Tatopani. Along the way, explore the ancient village of Marpha, inhabited by the indigenous people of Mustang. Upon reaching Tatopani, settle into a modest lodge, and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Whether indulging in hot spring baths or embarking on scenic hikes, the choice is yours to rejuvenate and unwind.

Day 10 Drive to Pokhara

Following breakfast, retrace the road back to Pokhara. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Take this opportunity to relax and unwind, reflect and explore the charming city of Pokhara. Whether you choose to explore the picturesque Phewa Lake or add an extra activity, the choice is yours.

Day 11 Pokhara Sightseeing

An early morning cable car ride to Sarangkot, a hilltop located at an altitude of 1,592 meters, with panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range. Continue to Pumdikot, a viewpoint featuring a 16m statue of Lord Shiva. Stop at Shanti Stupa, one of Nepal's two peace pagodas. From this vantage point, relish breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountains and the lakeside city of Pokhara.

For the thrill-seekers, engage in paragliding, ziplining, or boating in the surrounding hills. Alternatively, embrace the culinary arts with cooking lessons or a singing bowl class.

Day 12 Fly to Kathmandu

Afternoon flight back to Kathmandu.
