Pikey Peak Trek with a Spiritual twist
Pikey Peak trek is ideal for those looking for a short trek in the Everest region. The journey takes you to the viewpoint at Pikey Peak, which offers expansive views of Numbur Himal, Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and Manaslu mountin ranges. As claimed by Sir Edmund Hillary himself, the Pikey Peak viewpoint offers the best views of the Lower Everest Region.
After the viewpoint, the path descends to pass through mountain villages where you will stay for 2-nights in a monastery to get an intimate glimpse into the life of a monk in the Himalayas. Continue to Phaplu, once the home of Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to summit Mt. Everest on May 29, 1953. Explore the mountain village before returning to Kathmandu.
