    Bardiya safari

  • Begin your day with a half-day jeep safari deep into the jungle along rugged dirt roads. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of birdlife and wildlife, including the endangered Bengal Tiger. Visit some of the best viewing towers and go off-road for an unforgettable jungle safari experience.
Return to the hotel for lunch, before an evening walking safari. Walking along a jungle path enclosed by trees, you listen out for the jungle sounds. We take you to well-known hideaways, where you will be more likely to spot wildlife as you crouch in the bushes.

Optional add-on: Choose to have an afternoon or night-time jeep safari. In the afternoon (or dusk), when the weather is cooler and the animals become more active, venture out for a jeep safari in the national park. Explore the jungle in the comfort and convenience of a jeep accompanied by park rangers.

Optional add-on: Spend the afternoon learning about the ethnic tribe of Tharu. Living isolated and undisturbed for centuries, the Tharu have developed their own language and unique culture. Their small agricultural villages are constructed out of mud-walled houses, often with artistic line drawings. Explore villages in the vicinity, famous for hosting Prince Harry in 2016, to learn about their unique way of life. Learn about local community conservation programs that help educate the Tharu’s to live in harmony with the roaming wildlife through ecotourism initiatives.
